Addictions.-

Hi everybody! Today’s topic is” Addictions”. I think that it comes from the genetic part of the people and it’s increases with parenting, friendships and experience of life, for example if you had the gen of  smoking but no one to your closer circle smoke and you’ll never try to smoke its very probably that you aren't going to develop the gene    ever . In my case I think I am on the limit of being an addict, that’s because every time that I try something new (substances, experiences) and I really like it I want more and more, but something that was implanted in my upbringing or my conscience  say me “no! , it’s dangerous or It could cause some damage in future”. That’s the reason why I don’t smoke a lot like before, try to drink a maximum of 3 cups of coffee at day or I eat just one piece of cake to avoided weight gain and many other cases about  things that I like to do but I don’t like the consequences that it could come.  But exist people who ...

Looking for a PhD on eco-districts

Hi everybody, in this post I’m going to talk about some postgraduate program that I would like to do. My career (Renewable naturals resources engineering) is very holistic and because of that is very difficult to me decide about what is the area that I prefer or which job I really want. Despite of this thinking about my dream of build a complete sustainable neighbourhood, I should study something about construction and deeper understanding about technology in clean energies that are possible to use in a neighbourhood, not only a wind or solar farms sizes. Talking about sustainable neighbourhoods or eco-distrits, the first one it’s situated in Stockholm specifically on Hammarby sjöstad and works since this year. And the planning strategy is focused on a “close circuit of urban metabolism”, that means building sustainable systems of water, wastes and energy threats.   That is the reason why if I ever have the chance of study in Sweden I will take the PhD programme in Sustaina...
